Who doesn’t love a nice, yummy cake, right? From the soft, spongy inside to the creamy, sweet frosting, what’s not to love about a well-made dessert like cake? It might just be one of the best things ever.
But what if I told you that the cake was so small that you could eat it in one bite? I know. I know. That would probably be pretty cute to look at, but not a lot of fun to eat.
If you didn’t already know, tiny food is all the rage these days. Not only are people creating tiny food sculptures, but there’s a quickly growing group of folks out there making minuscule food for little animals.
Surely, you’ve seen this video of tiny hamsters eating tiny burritos. Or maybe you’ve seen the video where a hamster participates in a hot dog eating contest using the smallest hot dogs ever created. No? Well, you had to have seen the video of the tiny hamsters going on their tiny date.
Clearly, tiny food has become very popular. And that’s where the below video comes in. By just taking a quick glance, you might think the cake in the video is a normal, regular-sized cake ready to be eaten.
Watch for a few more seconds, however, and you’ll see that it’s actually a tiny cake (make from circles cut out of a slice of white bread) made with tiny kitchen tools. This thing is so small!
Not only that, but YouTuber Miniature Space even uses a little knife to cut his strawberry topping into pieces and a tiny ladle to place the sprinkles on the top of the cake.
I don’t know about you, but I think this is really neat, but it also makes me hungry for a real cake that I can enjoy. To the kitchen!
