Horsetail Fall, Yosemite National Park, USA. The waterfall is seasonal – it only falls in winter and spring. But the unique effect – when the setting sun illuminates the waterfall and makes it look like fire – is even rarer.
The photographers who want to picture the Firefall have to be very patient, because the weather conditions can change and obstruct the sunset. They also look for the various spots to take a picture and capture the fall from the various angles.
Why to go there?
Besides this unique phenomena, Yosemite is one of the most beautiful and famous parks in USA.
When to go there?
The Firefall is the most visible from the middle to the late February.
How to get there?
It is best to admire the Horsetail Fall from the El Capitan picnic area found on the north road, which leads to Yosemite Valley.
