Need a dessert pronto? You can make this cake in just a few minutes in the microwave! Trust me, I had my doubts, but after I tried this, I have to say, this was the fluffiest cake I’ve ever made!

For me, this easy recipe is great, especially because you can make a nice, yummy, single serving cake. You don’t have to slave in the kitchen for hours and, if you have a small household, this DIY treat assures that no excess cake will go to waste.

All you need are the following ingredients:

4 Tbsp all purpose flour
4 Tbsp white granulated sugar
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/2 an egg
3 Tbsp peanut butter
3 Tbsp milk
3 Tbsp vegetable oil
You combine all of the ingredients into an over-sized coffee mug. Mix well with a fork or spoon until smooth. Microwave on high for 1 minute, 50 seconds. Instead of using frosting, you can top the microwave cake with whipped cream and chocolate chips — and enjoy!
