However, these lockdowns and travel restrictions, while necessary, have also had an adverse impact on wildlife conservation, the full-blown effects of which have been felt at the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania, East Africa.

A stop on tourism has affected foreign revenue, jobs, and more importantly, the mechanism for conservation sustainability.
