The only thing that could possibly be better than a delicious, delectable dessert would be one that requires no baking and is a little on the healthier side for you. That, however, seems like some kind of sweet-tooth, treat-lover’s pipe dream. Or is it?
The peanut butter pie has become a huge hit in the last few years. Not only is it my own mother’s favorite dessert, but it’s quickly become my wife’s as well, ever since Mom started bringing it to all of our family gatherings. And, really, can you blame them? It’s so yummy. But, until now, I had never seen a good no-bake, low-fat recipe for a peanut butter Pie.
In the below video, created by PopSugar Food, you’ll get a super-simple walkthrough of how to make your very own no-bake, low-fat peanut butter pie! They partnered with Weight Watchers to put the recipe together, and it is so simple that they didn’t even need to have anyone hosting the video to explain it.
Grab your ingredients (the full list of which can be found within the YouTube video’s description) and follow along as you mix them all up into a yummy filling that goes directly into a pre-made pie crust, then just toss the entire thing into the freezer for at least four hours.
Once the four hours is up, you can slice up your pie and dish it out to all your guests. In basically no time at all, you’ve created one of the best desserts on the planet — and you didn’t even have to turn on your oven! I cannot wait to try this one!
