He Puts Butter And Sugar In The Microwave—And Makes The BEST Dessert Ever

Ah, caramel. How I love thee. These sweet, chewy nuggets of deliciousness are the perfect topping to any ice cream treat, or just on their own as tiny bundles of sugary goodness.

The internet never ceases to amaze me, with all its delicious and simple recipes and life hacks. In this video, Todd’s Kitchen will teach you the absolute easiest way to make some lovely chewable caramel bites in your own home — and you can do it all in your microwave!

How many ingredients do you need? SIX. Count ‘em:

1/2 cup corn syrup
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
You can also try substituting corn syrup with honey or golden syrup. But beware — this recipe can get a little messy and sticky. Other than that, the results are truly delicious!

I’m definitely going to make these caramels at home!
