Alan Jackson is one of the most prolific singers and songwriters in country music. He has received a number of awards over the years, including Grammy Awards, CMA Awards, ACM Awards, and a membership in the Grand Ole Opry. The only thing missing was induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame.

It was announced in 2017 that he would be one of the honored inductees. Yet, in spite of all of his talent, success, fame, and everything he has brought to the country music industry, Alan still feels as if he is somehow undeserving of the honor.

Ali Jackson, Alan Jackson’s daughter, shared a heartfelt social media post explaining why she believes her Dad deserves a spot in the Hall of Fame.

Her message quickly caught the internet’s attention and fans and others are loving what she had to say about her famous father.

Ali’s post reads, “The world sees you as follows: a great musician, an impressive song writer and a talented vocalist. I see you as: my best friend, the guy that taught me that how you treat people matters more than anything else and taught me just how to stand on my own two feet,” the 23-year old wrote. “You’re every daughter’s dream father. Thank you for raising us in a house filled with Jesus and music, and always making sure we knew whatever our dream was could be our reality.”

It’s easy to see by Ali’s post that her dad didn’t only make a huge impact on the entertainment world, but also on his family.

Alan Jackson is known for his humble attitude and his close bond with his family that he maintained even through his rise to fame and the years of touring. He has been married to his high school sweetheart, Denise, for 37 years, which is like 100 years for couples that are in the spotlight. He also credits Denise with helping to establish his music career.

The couple has three daughters and Ali is their middle child.
